World of Pineapples
Pineapples is an emerging Colombian brand inspired by the world of art to create unique, sustainable and fun clothing. Its name recalls a surrealism paradox and a kitsch aesthetic with daring patterns. In the past few years, we have created collections that prove that fashion is more fun when you don’t follow the rules. We’re committed to talking about social issues, being sustainable, and breaking down stereotypes through our pieces that support non profit foundations and are environmentally responsible. Welcome to the Pineapples world, the world where Pineapples don’t have sleeves.
World of Pineapples
We’re a Colombian brand with a differentiating DNA: from the name, that evokes a surrealist and childish paradox; a kitsch and ironic aesthetic; daring prints that immerse you in our world; and a provocative and magic color palette. Pineapples Don’t Have Sleeves shows that fashion can be fun when the rules are not followed, that humor is present when you play with shapes and silhouettes, that style can be sophisticated and joyful. We’re committed to talk about social and artistic matters to help transform stereotypes, creating pieces that contribute to social causes and are responsible with the environment. Welcome to Pineapples, the world where pineapples don’t have sleeves.
WELCOME TO THE World of Pineapples

Sustainability
We love fashion but understand its impact, that’s why we focus in creating quality clothes with a slow production, help foundations for people in need, and work with sustainable fabrics.

Fun
No matter what we do, we always want things to be fun. Our clothes are a fantasy, a space to dream and enjoy fashion. As we always say, welcome to the world where pineapples don’t have sleeves.

Feminism
We’re a brand made by and for women, our main goal has always been to pursue equality. We fight everyday for women to love themselves, forget about stereotypes and be whoever they want to be.

WE THE WOMEN:
The meaning of the word Feminism is: “the theory of the political, economic, and social equality of the sexes”. But sometimes it seems like the true sense of the word is forgotten. That’s why we created this collection inspired by the need of a change of attitude, a revolutionary act, to love and respect each other. Veronica Orozco Abad is a woman who tells stories through her blog “La Divorcée” and her podcast “Vida Real”. For Pineapples, it is a pleasure to present this collaboration, with someone whom we share the willingness to challenge women to know, uplift and develop their potential. This five piece collection is about t-shirts for the everyday life with oversized silhouettes and printed hoodies to support a message; and reinforcing our commitment with equality, part of the profits will be donated to the foundation Niñas Sin Miedo, who helps girls in dangerous situations through cycling and education.

OH, DARLING
A collection inspired by the much criticized subject of child beauty pageants. The fake and crazy reality lived by the girls is developed into a surrealistic vision through the world of René Magritte. Always from a childish perspective, the designs show graphic imagery by playful prints. The child's mind is shown by an explosion of colors and silhouettes from a little girl's closet.

LIKE A PRAYER
Throughout this collection, Pineapples wants to exalt the religious icons who have accompanied Colombians for years in situations of pain and fear. Religion is intertwined in the culture, and arises in artistic expressions, like fashion. Our color palette was carried away by our inspiration theme towards darker tones: purpples, blues, reds and blacks. They go with the symbology in the prints of stained glasses, flowers, crowns and crosses; and like that, the vestiges of our theme appeared in the dresses and shoes.

THE GRAND PINEAPPLES HOTEL:
We’re delighted to present you THE GRAND PINEAPPLES HOTEL, a collection that represents the essence of our brand and sums up our history, with it we want to show the core of what Pineapples is.
We welcome you to our hotel: walls that exhibit the details that represent us, surrealist spaces that talk about our ironic and fantastic humor, a color explosion in an unique imagery and loose shapes to create atemporal pieces.

MANUAL DE SUPERVIVENCIA INMORAL:
We met Ana a while ago, she made us laugh all night with her humour, spontaneity and surprised us with her raw honesty. It was an instant connection between women who want to do things differently, play with fashion and see the occurrences of the daily life as an episode of "Sex and The City". We decided to create a collaboration to tell stories of first times: temporary for many, nostalgic for others, but always a beginning. Do you remember how you felt the first time you saw the sea, that you were afraid or maybe when you overcame an obstacle that seemed impossible? That's what this Manual is for, to remember those difficult times we overcome and the strength we have for those coming.

JABBERWOCKY
A collection born from the concept of Lewis Caroll's poem "Jabberwocky" in his book "Alice through the looking glass". Jabberwocky, literally means senseless and it was our inspiration to mix two opposite worlds: on one hand the neon bright side, and on the other, pastel colors and the refined style of Rococo, represented by an over the top styling, kitsch imagery and an attention to detail that makes every single design unique.

SAY YES TO YOURSELF:
A collection about self love. We're so used to hearing about loving other people that we sometimes forget that the first love of our lives should be ourselves. The idea behind this collection was to create a romantic atmosphere, silhouettes that reminisce softness, dreamy details and tulles to be ready for the ceremony: marrying yourself.

THE FIGHTER:
The year 2020 was clearly the year of the 20/20 vision, in which we finally begin to see things as they truly are.
We have reached the necessary point on the road where we need to ask ourselves questions about everything that we saw as normal for so long. That's why love appears on the scene as an essential element to fight. Living life from an ethic of love forces us to look at everything with loving eyes that transforms our reality. Using love as a shield is an act of resistance. In a society that tells us that our size is not adequate, that sells us products based on our insecurities, loving ourselves is an act of resistance. On a planet that we’re rapidly destroying thanks to excessive growth, transforming our habits is an act of resistance. In a humanity that seeks to divide us according to our skin color or our identity, loving is an act of resistance.

505
A collection born from the memorable concept of the Arctic Monkey's song of the same name, that evokes a longed place between what's real and imaginary. "505" was inspired by the work of the master Fernando Botero, the colourful world and comics of Roy Lichtenstein, the suggestive poetic lyrics of Arctic Monkeys and the psychedelic fashion of the 60's. The mixture of these elements make art and fashion a single language.

BARBARELLA
A collection based on the heroin's movie of the 60's, Barbarella, known for her charisma, erotism and innocence. Designs inspired by the iconic looks of the leading lady with symmetrical prints contrasting our fun and showy aesthetic. A game of lines in which each graphics represents a different but harmonious world, with pieces that highlight the female figure with various tonalities and representations that manage to take you to Barbarella's world. Our collection is made and worn by an army of self-confident women.

W.A.S.A.H
Inspired by the advertising of the 50's, we created an imagery in our prints showing the reality of the time but contrasting it with our idea of empowered woman, according to the campaigns of Time's Up and #Metoo. An interesting proposal mixing the illustrations in which you see the woman dependent and weak, accompanied with quotes of the current context. Besides, its silhouettes are the perfect balance between strong structured shapes and soft fabrics that embrace women's bodies.

MEDELLIN BONITA
A love letter to the incredible Medellín. Five pieces to celebrate a city full of movement and color, so special and unique. With its streets and spaces we travel in the cadence of skirts that represent an idea and multiple ways of living it. A celebration of the city that we inhabit and inhabit us. With love, from us to the city of a thousand figures, Medellín.

LOVE
A collection that was born from asking each of you what love is. And after a season in which we met our friends over Zoom, and that our hugs became emoticons on WhatsApp, we created a collection based on our experiences, with an aesthetic that celebrate the universal form of love: the heart.
You’ll fall in love with a color palette of reds; textures with tulle, fringes and sequins; and of course, lots of graphics and prints.

RSVP
If you were to mix Surrealism and Pop Art, Pineapples Don’t Have Sleeves would be born. From our name to our collections, we love to get inspired by the humor and aesthetic of these iconic art forms. We’re honoring our beginnings with RSVP, an invitation to a very different and exclusive Pineapples party.
Get ready for an incredible collection that will make you look twice with surrealist style prints of hands and body parts, jaw-dropping silhouettes (and some fake silhouettes too) to create new volumes and play around with, and of course, sustainable fabrics that feel like a second skin. A color palette that will keep you on your toes, details that make every piece unique and one of a kind embroideries will make you question everything you’ve seen before.
